The Stone Temple Pilots are a rock band consisting of Scott Weiland (vocals), Dean (guitar) and Robert DeLeo (bass) and Eric Kretz (drums). The band contributed Big Empty to the Crow's soundtrack, a song that T-Bird's gang blasts in their car while Eric Draven emerges from his grave. The song also appears in the end credits.
The band rerecorded a song from their early demos when they were known as "Mighty Joe Young", titled Only Dying. The song was pulled from the soundtrack at the last second due to Brandon Lee's death and replaced with Big Empty. The music video to Big Empty featured scenes from the movie.
