Gideon is the owner of a pawnshop, where Tin-Tin pawned Shelly's engagement ring. Eric Draven forces him to return the ring and torches the shop, but lets Gideon live so that he can send a message. He goes to warn Top Dollar, but the crime boss thinks that he is making it up and kills Gideon with a rapier stab to the throat.
